2017/18 Teacher Requests - March 31st
is the last day to submit a teacher request for next year. Forms are available in the office. Due to teacher staffing requirements, the teacher that you have requested may not be be staffed in this building or grade level next year. An educational reason for request is needed.

** Please make sure your student has socks and shoes to wear during school. Boots that are worn outside are not able to be worn in the classroom due to the snow and mud mess its leaves on the floors. 

Safety during parent drop off and pick up - We are very concerned about the safety of our students being picked up and dropped off on Hancock St. Double parking and leaving your vehicle unattended on the road is illegal, and unsafe. A suggestion to speed up the flow and eliminate the congestion is to wait until the flow of traffic tapers off; come earlier or later. Another suggestion is to utilize the parking loop on the West side of the building off Riverside Dr, pull in and loop around and out. If you are not walking your child in (which we do not suggest unless they are Pre-K or K), please simply drop off your child and proceed out of the parking lane or lot. Adults and safety patrol are visible outside and will continue to monitor the safety of students entering and exiting.

 Your student's attendance is very important. Attendance letters are generated automatically based on PHS District Policies. Letters automatically generate every 5 and 8 days of absence. Letters also automatically generate if your student continuously arrives after the 8:25 tardy bell or leaves before the 3:15 dismissal bell.
